Dancing in the Minefields

One of my favorite days.
It was the day I married my best friend.
Became a wife.
Started a new life with the man God chose for me.Over the last decade we had been learning what it means to truly love one another.
It hasn’t always been a field of daisies.
There have been wonderful times, yes oh so wonderful
there have also been times when I wasn’t sure we’d find our way.
But I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything.
Anything.

I am crazy in love with the boy I married
more so than I ever dreamed possible a decade ago.
I can’t believe how blessed I am to walk through this life with him
or rather dance….
Happy 10th Anniversary to the man who still melts my heart.
