Christmas Cookie Countdown- 4 days ’til Christmas

December 21, 2009 by Sara Haynes 1 Comment

This morning we made these mini-brownie bites.

You.
Must.
Make.
These!

By far better than any store bought brownies, that’s for sure!
So moist, so rich, so yummmmmmy.

The girls had an especially good time eating the leftover frosting by the spoonful!

Christmas Cookie Countdown- 5 days ’til Christmas

December 21, 2009 by Sara Haynes 1 Comment

This past weekend the girls spent the afternoon with their auntie (my lovely sister). While they were there they got to help her bake some super yummy cookies (a recipe that I was assured made the most delicious cookies EVER!)

And I’m thinking that for all your married ladies- if you make these cookies for your man he will clean the house, watch the kids AND send you out to the spa!

Just sayin’.

Our Lesson: Christmas is about giving. We are so excited to celebrate the greatest gift of all – Jesus! Happy Birthday to Jesus!

I love Jesus, my guy Chris + our four. We seek joy. Homeschool. Adventure together. Mess up and start again.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
