Today I was sitting, talking with Chris when he mentioned that he was waiting for a fax to come in from a client.
Upon hearing this Abby jumped up saying: “You guys are going to Faxico!? I don’t want you to go! Can I come? I reeeeeeally want to go to Faxico!!”
Chris and I burst out laughing. Earlier that day we had been talking about his parents taking a trip to Mexico. Our sweet Abby was mixing up the words Mexico and fax.
After a good laugh I said to Chris “See, if we didn’t have kids we wouldn’t have had that awesome moment!”
He looked at me and without skipping a beat and said “If we didn’t have kids we would be IN Faxico.”
Truth.
I love Jesus, my guy Chris + our four. We seek joy. Homeschool. Adventure together. Mess up and start again.
