Rice Krispie Squares are made in our house all the time. They are quick, easy and because they don’t have eggs or nuts in them they are a treat that all the kids can enjoy.
To add a little festive flare to our squares we simply covered them with Christmas sprinkles and tied them up with licorice to make them look like little presents.
Our Lesson: Christmas is about giving. We are so excited to celebrate the greatest gift of all – Jesus! Happy Birthday to Jesus!
Rice Krispie Squares
1/2 cup butter
10 cups mini marshmallows
11 cups rice krispie cereal
3 tsp vanilla
Melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and heat until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Add cereal. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan.

I love Jesus, my guy Chris + our four. We seek joy. Homeschool. Adventure together. Mess up and start again.

i make rice krispie wreaths every year. i use green food coloring to color them, use red fruit by the foot for the ribbon, and red cherry candy balls for the holly berries. they are always a big hit!
